Forest Road Corridor Improvement Study

The Maricopa County Department of Transportation (MCDOT) conducted a planning study of Forest Road between McDowell Mountain Road and Rio Verde Drive. The purpose of the study was to identify existing and future conditions, evaluate potential capacity and active transportation solutions, and look at alternative access into/out of Rio Verde from the east side.
