Launched by the Arizona Department of Housing, the Rental and Eviction Prevention Assistance Program (REPAP) is available to residents financially impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. If you are in need of rental assistance during this time, please complete an online application at www.AZhousing.gov.
Interested applicants who do not have access to a computer can call 2-1-1 Arizona to submit an application over the phone by following these steps:
Press 8 for “COVID-19”;
Pick a language by either pressing 1 for “English” or 2 for “Spanish"; and
Press 5 for “Eviction Prevention."
The Maricopa County Human Services Department (HSD) will review applications submitted by Maricopa County residents living outside the cities of Phoenix, Mesa, and Glendale.

For residents living outside the cities of Phoenix, Mesa, and Glendale, the Maricopa County Human Services Department will review your application as quickly as possible and in the order it is received. HSD will reach out to you if additional information and/or documentation is required, as well as when eligibility is determined.
Please note that because a large volume of applications have been submitted, wait times for assistance are longer than usual, however, HSD is committed to providing quality service at all times and will determine program eligibility as quickly as possible.
To check the status of your application, please visit AZHousing.gov and select "Returning Applicant Log In." Once you have entered your email address and password, your status will appear as one of the following:
Draft: Your application has not been submitted and you will need to follow the prompts to complete your application.
Counselor Review: Your application has been successfully submitted and is waiting for review.
