  • The software now detects if it is running on a 64 bit operating system.
  • The new PREFRE and MCUHP1 models that runs on 64 bit operating systems are now incorporated.
  • Default directories were setup for Project Paths and mapping files.
  • Multiple rainfall IDs are only allowed with NOAA14.
  • "Custom" option has been added for Soils, Land Use and Roads in Project Setup to allow DDMSW to be used with other agencies data.

Upgrading DDMSW 4.6.0 to DDMSW 4.6.4

After applying DDMSW 4.6.4 patch the data in DDMSW 4.6.0 will be preserved, but it is still highly recommended to back up the project data in your current install of DDMSW before updating it. The following are step-by-step procedures below to upgrade to DDMSW 4.6.4.
  1. Download the Patch. Right-click the Installation File (ZIP) and choose "Save Target As" to download the self-extract file FCDMCPATCH464.EXE to the installation folder of DDMSW 4.6.0 (By default, the installation folder is C:\DDMSW460\ST).
  2. After saving the executable to the same location where DDMSW 4.6.0 is installed. If the operating system is older than Windows 7 then double-click on FCDMCPATCH464.EXE, for Windows 7 and newer right-click and select "Run as administrator" to self-extract files in the installation folder. A window will pop-up showing that the patch is installing.
  3. An information message box pops up which reads "All items for DDMSW Patch were successfully extracted" once the upgrade process is finished.
  4. After the patch has been installed DDMSW can be opened as usual. To check to make sure that the patch was installed correctly click on Help and then select About from the pull-down menu to display the version number.
