Community health status data provides data for in Maricopa County including communicable diseases, births, causes of deaths, and causes of hospitalizations. In the past different report formats were provided but in recent years all data is compiled into a triennial report as part of the countywide Community Health Assessment (CHA). There is also data available on behavioral factors such as smoking, exercise, and healthy eating available under the Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System (BRFSS) header.

The Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System (BRFSS) report shows the prevalence of health behaviors, medical conditions and preventive health care practices among adults by age, gender, race/ethnicity, education, household income and region.
