    About Workforce Development

    Maricopa Workforce Connections invites you to visit one of the Career Development Centers located throughout the Valley. The Centers are designed to provide both the business community and job seekers with a variety of services, most of which are free of charge. Listed below are a few of the many services provided at the Centers:

    Business Services Job Seekers
    • Advertise your job openings locally or nationally through a variety of mediums
    • Customized recruitment and matching qualified candidate(s) to your job openings
    • On-site recruitment (at either the Center or your site) annual job fairs across the Valley (minimal fee)
    • Corporate restructuring and career transition services
    • Local and national labor market information, industry trends, wage surveys, and population information
    • Information and assistance with Enterprise Zone and other employment related tax credits
    • Access to computers, fax machines and copiers for developing and submitting resumes and application packets
    • Access to job leads and labor market information
    • Assessment of interests, aptitudes, and work preferences
    • Career planning guidance
    • Job search/retention assistance workshops;
    • Career libraries containing resource material related to career and training opportunities
    • Information and referral to community organizations that can provide further assistance
