About Community Services Commission

The Maricopa County Community Services Commission (MCCSC) is the Community Action Board of the Maricopa County Community Action Agency as established pursuant to a Resolution adopted by the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors on February 24, 1970. The Maricopa County Community Action Agency is the Maricopa County Human Services Department Community Services Division. Maricopa County Human Services Department (MCHSD), Community Services Division is one (1) of ten (10) designated Community Action Agencies (CAAs) in the state of Arizona. The CAAs are the largest part of the nationwide Community Services Network, which is comprised of approximately 1,140 local, private, non-profit and public agencies working to alleviate poverty and empower low-income families and communities throughout the United States.
